Algoma University has recently launched two new partnerships. AlgomaU and Unity partnered to launch the National Centre of Excellence (NCoE), which will develop new programming opportunities in the Real Time-3D Platform. The partnership was formed in anticipation of worldwide exponential growth in augmented and virtual reality applications. AlgomaU has also partnered with Trinity Medical Sciences University (TMSU) to offer AlgomaU graduates a pathway to attain a Doctor of Medicine degree. Eligible Bachelor of Science in Biology graduates will be prequalified for acceptance at TMSU, and graduates will be able to pursue residency programs in Canada or the US. Students will also be able to complete a fully funded mini-clerkship program at TMSU’s main teaching hospital in the US to help inform their career choices.
