Algoma University has partnered with the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation (OLG) to support student learning and development. The partnership will bring new opportunities to AlgomaU students, including WIL, cooperative education, and career development opportunities, while addressing OLG talent development and workforce needs. The agreement also emphasizes reconciliation with culturally relevant experiential learning. “This agreement reflects a shared commitment to student success and reconciliation through action,” said AlgomaU Interim President Dr Sheila Embleton. “Together, Algoma University and OLG are creating meaningful opportunities that connect education, lived experience, and career pathways, particularly for Indigenous students.”
