Assiniboine College will launch a Food Services Management diploma program in September 2026. This program will prepare students for leadership positions in large-scale institutional food service settings by covering topics such as the creation of menus that meet diverse needs, management of staff and budgets, and compliance with food safety legislation. “We’ve built a curriculum that blends leadership, legislation and logistics with a deep commitment to client care and satisfaction,” said Assiniboine Manitoba Institute of Culinary Arts chairperson Karen O’Gilvie. “Our graduates will be equipped to manage complex food systems in a variety of settings with confidence and compassion.”
