AU Faculty of Business achieves AACSB accreditation

Athabasca University has announced that its Faculty of Business has received Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) accreditation, placing it within the top six percent of business schools around the world. The accreditation recognizes excellence in teaching, research, curriculum development, and student learning and recognizes the knowledge and competencies that graduates gain within the program. It will also support AU’s pursuit of international partnerships and attract international learners who wish to earn an internationally-recognized credential. “Achieving such highly regarded accreditation sends a signal to the world that AU’s Faculty of Business is among the world’s very best, and that our graduates are positioned to excel in their careers and the communities they serve,” said AU President Peter Scott.
