Athabasca University’s library and Faculty of Graduate Studies have launched a virtual space where graduate students can store and share thesis research. AUSpace is part of a pilot project focused on enhancing visibility and impact of research at AU. Students can use the platform to upload files such as videos, podcasts, theses and dissertations, and images and datasets. The project will be part of the Scholaris national shared repository, enabling students to view the work of other students. “This welcome transition strengthens the visibility, accessibility, and long-term preservation of our graduate students’ outstanding scholarship, while providing enhanced support for innovative and multimodal research,” said AU Graduate Studies Interim Dean Dr Simon Sigué.
