The Government of British Columbia has announced that the EV Maintenance Training program has been expanded to three more postsecondary institutions through the CleanBC Go Electric program in partnership with Trades Training BC. Vancouver Island University, College of the Rockies, and Kwantlen Polytechnic University will now offer the course and will train Red Seal automotive technicians in the necessary skills to work on EVs. “By working with these post-secondary institutions, we’re preparing our workforce for a clean, innovative economy and giving British Columbians the confidence to go electric, knowing their EVs can be serviced by a professional,” said BC Minister of Advanced Education and Skills Training Anne Kang.
