Brock, Bethesda partner to better lives of individuals with disabilities

Brock University and nonprofit organization Bethesda have signed a Memorandum of Understanding, which will steer their collaborative work to improve the lives of local residents with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Building upon Brock and Bethesda’s long-standing partnership, this agreement will inform the development of new research on the impact of recreational activities for people with developmental disabilities. The MOU also extends professional development opportunities to Bethesda staff. “By working together, we’re not only advancing knowledge but also making a tangible difference in the lives of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families,” said Brock Associate Professor Julie Koudys.
