Brock University has launched a new program that will support early-stage entrepreneurs as they develop their business ideas. In January, NAVIGATE will welcome its first cohort of students, alumni, and community members who are interested in developing business ideas. Participants in the 11-week program will be guided through the “lean start-up” process, which focuses on testing and iterating business ideas using insights gained from customer feedback. “This is less about the steps to starting a small business and more about how to set up the right foundation for your business idea to succeed,” said Brock LINC Program Manager Cassie Conte. The program is offered in a hybrid fashion with asynchronous learning components and in-person sessions for feedback and mentorship.
