Camosun receives $1.3M donation for the Empowering Women in the Trades program

Camosun College has received nearly $1.3M donation to fund the Empowering Women in the Trades program over five years. The donation, which comes from the Gwyn Morgan and Patricia Trottier Foundation, will support the Empowering Women in Trades program. Empowering Women in Trades helps to eliminate barriers faced by women who would like to study the trades by offering wrap-around supports such as transportation, child care, equipment and tools, networking and mentoring opportunities, and employment support. The donation is reportedly the largest in Camosun’s history. Times Colonist Note: Archived stories may contain dead links or be missing source links.
