Camosun College and Trent University have both recently announced new graduate diplomas to equip students with skills for the workplace. Camosun’s Post-Degree Diploma in Sport Management will help graduates of bachelor’s degree programs gain the industry-specific knowledge and skills needed to pursue a career in the field of sport management. “As sport continues to grow in Canada, there is significant demand for qualified professionals with applied skills in the development, delivery, and marketing of sport related activities,” said Camosun program lead Charles Parkinson. Trent’s new Dementia Studies graduate diploma will provide registered nurses with the training they need to care for individuals affected by dementia. The part-time program will include theory-based courses and a practicum in which nurses will take part in 150 hours of clinical placement experience. The first cohort will begin their studies in September 2023. Camosun| Trent Note: Archived stories may contain dead links or be missing source links.
