Canada–EU alliance includes opportunities for postsecondary researchers, students

Canada, the European Union, and the European Council have officially launched the “Alliance for the Future” and pledged to continue negotiations on making Canada an associate member of the EU. As part of this agreement, Canada has joined the European High Performance Computing Joint Undertaking, which will give Canadian researchers access to the JUPITER supercomputer. The Government of Canada is also negotiating to expand its participation in the EU’s Erasmus+ program and to join the next Horizon Europe program, which would give Canadian researchers access to resources and collaboration opportunities.
