The Government of Canada and Government of Saskatchewan have announced more than $7.1M in funding in support of French postsecondary education in SK. The funding will support the stabilization and consolidation of Francophone postsecondary programs at University of Regina’s La Cité universitaire francophone and Collège Mathieu; the renovation of Mazenod Hall at Mathieu; and the modernization of classrooms, meeting rooms, and community spaces at La Cité to meet the growing demand of the Fransaskois community. The projects are funded through the Canada-Saskatchewan Agreement for Minority-Language Education and Second-Language Instruction.
