CDI, Indspire partner to support Indigenous students with $1M in funding

CDI College and Indspire have partnered to provide Indigenous students with additional scholarships and awards to close the educational gap between Indigenous and non-Indigenous students. CDI has donated $500K to support the initiative, which has been matched by the Government of Canada to total $1M in funding. The CDI College awards will support over 100 Indigenous students over the next four years in achieving postsecondary education. “Alongside with the awareness, recognition, and funds that we raise, the most important thing to me, as an educator, is the dialogue that we open up, the things we can learn from our Indigenous students, staff and community,” said Anoush Kazarian, Regional Director for CDI in Ontario.
