Cégep de Lanaudière has announced a new brand to recognize its evolution. The cégep, originally known as Cégep régional de Lanaudière, dropped the word “regional” in order to simplify its name. It has also launched a new visual identity. The new brand includes four circles representing the cégep’s presence in the region’s four corners with an administrative centre and three constituents. The colours blend from green to blue to yellow, representing dynamic exchange, and each colour represents a different location: green represents Joliette and its abundant nature, blue represents the river of Terrebonne, and yellow represents the fields of L’Assomption. The cégep’s new tag line is “Ici, c’est toi.” The cégep also recently received a $1M grant for a project on bio-food, industrial design, and digital inclusion and its impact on the region’s socio-economic development.
