Cégep de Saint-Laurent and the Université du Québec à Montréal have formed a pathway that will enable cégep students in select programs to continue their studies in UQAM’s baccalauréat en géographie. Eligible learners with DEC profiles in the humanities will be exempt from admission and application fees to UQAM’s program, and can have up to three of their cégep courses recognized toward the degree. The partners say the agreement is intended to support learners’ transitions to university, while also strengthening the partnership between the institutions.
