Centennial College and Northpine Foundation have partnered to increase access to postsecondary education through a $5M endowment, created through a $2.5M investment from Northpine Foundation matched by Centennial. The endowment will establish the Northpine Investing in Scarborough Fellowship, which will provide approximately 50 students from Scarborough’s Neighbourhood Improvement Areas with about $4K annually in financial assistance. Students will also have access to a student success advisor and work-integrated learning opportunities. Entrance scholarships will be linked to programs with high labour market demand, including health care, skilled trades, and applied technologies.
