Three Canadian universities—Dalhousie University, the University of New Brunswick, and the University of Toronto—have signed MOUs with South Korean shipbuilder Hanwha Ocean.The universities will collaborate with Hanwha Ocean on research, innovation, and education in several areas such as acoustic and stealth technologies, digital and simulation technologies, and Intelligent and automated technologies. “These collaborations strengthen Canada’s innovation ecosystem, elevate our sovereign capabilities and prepare our students to contribute to complex global engineering programs,” said U of T Director of International Research Partnerships Illan Kramer.
