Dawson College has announced that it will be launching a new Social Science Program in Fall 2023. The program is an updated version of the cegep’s current social science program that includes more instruction, a deeper dive into history, and a greater emphasis on research. Eight profiles will be offered, including General Studies; Commerce; Education, Family and Childhood; International Business Studies; Law, Society and Justice; Psychology; Social Change and Solidarity; and Society and Technology. Students can also choose to take certificates to enhance their learning in areas such as Decolonization and Indigenous Studies and Environment Sustainability, and will take part in an interdisciplinary research project during their studies.
