Fleming College has officially opened its new Cobourg Learning Centre. The 3,325 square-foot facility will house a variety of Fleming programs, such as Academic Upgrading, Language Instruction for Newcomers to Canada, Corporate Training, and continuing education. The new centre will aim to expand Fleming’s reach to people in the Northumberland region. “Programs like these are the bedrock for developing and maintaining a viable, skilled workforce in the Northumberland community,” said Fleming President Maureen Adamson. “Fleming has had a presence in Cobourg for many years, and we are delighted to maintain that presence and be an important part of the catchment area for Cobourg and Northumberland for years to come.” Fleming Note: Archived stories may contain dead links or be missing source links.
