HEQCO publishes new stats on enrolment at ON institutions

The Higher Education Quality Council of Ontario has updated its Quick Stats resource, including adding new data on Ontario’s postsecondary enrolment. The tables show enrolment between 2018–19 and 2022–23. Overall enrolment increased over this time for colleges, undergraduate university, and graduate university education. At Ontario colleges, domestic enrolment at Ontario Colleges decreased between 2018–19 and 2022–23; international enrolment dipped in 2020–21 before increasing to its highest levels in the five-year span in 2022–23. At universities at both the undergraduate and graduate levels, domestic enrolment remained relatively stable over time while international enrolment typically increased each year.
