Humber Polytechnic received a combined $100M in federal and provincial investment this week. The funding will go towards the creation of a state-of-the-art community centre at Humber’s North Campus, which will house Canada Basketball’s national operations. This space, called the Athletic and Community Recreation Hub, will have six gyms and a high-performance training centre that will be used for both high-level competition and for community use. Canada Basketball and Humber will provide additional funding for the site through a private donor campaign and student fee allocations.
