The Institut national de la recherche scientifique and the Centre national en électrochimie et en technologies environnementales (CNETE)—affiliated with Cégep de Shawinigan—have signed an agreement focused on fermentation bioprocesses. Through this partnership, INRS and CNETE will explore opportunities to share expertise, infrastructure, resources, and skills development. They will also establish an integrated bioprocessing service that will facilitate access to research and technological development capabilities. The partnership will also focus on helping companies to scale their processes before commercialization.
