Institutions raise flags, host special events for Pride Month

Across the country, postsecondary institutions are celebrating Pride Month with events and resources. Alberta University of the Arts shared reading lists and resources for those interested in learning more, while institutions such as Georgian College and Okanagan College announced special parties and gatherings to bring the community together to celebrate diversity and belonging. Institutions such as Brock University, Queen’s University, and Vancouver Island University are among those raising flags on campus for the month. As local cities begin to plan their Pride parades, several institutions have also indicated that they will participate and announced how members of the campus community can get involved.
