Kenjgewin Teg and Ninaatigoons Learning have announced the launch of a pair of accredited Anishinaabemowin certificate programs. The Biidwewdamowaad Nimkiig Biidaabang Certificate programs, which include a General Stream and a Teaching Stream, are designed to help support the revitalization of the Anishinaabemowin language. The programs consist of full-time intensive learning, conversation practice, and culturally grounded teaching. “This partnership with Ninaatigoons Learning strengthens our commitment by expanding access to immersive, accredited Anishinaabemowin learning grounded in community, culture, and identity – as Anishinaabemowin is an essential pillar of our Anishinabek Nation,” said Kenjgewin Teg President Dr Beverley Roy.
