McGill raises $3.95M through McGill24 fundraiser

McGill University successfully raised $3.95M through McGill24, the university’s 24-hour day of giving. The funds will be used to support student programs, faculties, and departments, including programs that focus on empowering students to address global challenges. The fundraiser featured virtual and in-person events, a record number of student-led projects on McGill Crowdfunding, and donor-contributed challenge funds and matching gifts. “Everywhere you look on our campuses, you can see our remarkable students, faculty and researchers contributing to discovery and learning, and this kind of support allows them to reach even higher in their ambitions,” said Vice-Principal of McGill University Advancement Marc Weinstein.
