McGill receives QC authorization for New Vic project

McGill University has received support from the Government of Quebec for its New Vic project. QC has authorized the New Vic project’s Dossier d’affaires which will enable McGill to convert the former Royal Victoria Hospital into a hub that supports learning, research, teaching, and interdisciplinary collaboration. The New Vic complex will also model how heritage buildings can be responsibly redeveloped. “We are very excited to be able to breathe new life into this iconic Montreal heritage site by transforming it into a unique hub for world-class teaching and research that will favour innovation and knowledge creation,” said McGill Vice-Principal, Administration and Finance Yves Beauchamp.
