McMaster University’s Faculty of Health Sciences has launched a new research institute: The Evidence Synthesis and Support Institute (ESSI). ESSI will bring together established research centres, groups, and research experts to strengthen their capacity to meet emerging needs, while also creating a gateway for external partners to find the research teams they need to undertake projects. The institute will further provide the evidence synthesis and support services they need to make better decisions. McMaster states that the research institute will shape the future of evidence-based medicine.
