McMaster University and Western University have signed an agreement that will enable researchers from each institution to access 13 research facilities. With reciprocal access to the universities’ facilities, researchers will be able to tap into more tools and spaces to engage in discovery and innovation. The partnership has begun as a three-year pilot project, with the potential to expand to new facilities over time. “By opening access to our Core Research Platforms, we’re maximizing the investments from federal and provincial governments and empowering researchers to push boundaries, accelerate discovery, and train the next generation of innovators,” said McMaster VP (Research) Gianni Parise.
