This week, the Manitoba Institute of Trades and Technology unveiled a partnership with North Forge Technology Exchange, with the goal of making tech entrepreneurship more accessible to all students. The partners will also launch the Women’s Innovation Lab later this spring to encourage more women into tech careers. “This is all about planting seeds,” said MITT Acting President Beverlie Stuart. “Whether they start their own business or become intra-preneurs at another organization, what a great set of skills to have.” North Forge states that this is their first formal collaboration with a postsecondary institution.
