NBCC Saint John receives $45.9M for campus building renovations

New Brunswick Community College’s Saint John campus will be receiving $45.9 in combined funding from the provincial and federal governments for renovations. The funding will support building retrofits that will increase the energy efficiency of the buildings, as well as other upgrades. “This announcement is the result of a community-wide effort to address New Brunswick’s labour market challenges,” said NBCC President Mary Butler. “The redevelopment does more than address today’s needs; we will increase training capacity and overall efficiency while decreasing our physical footprint, annual operating costs, and deferred maintenance.” NB Note: Archived stories may contain dead links or be missing source links.
