NLC, Kodiaks sign MOU to support Kodiak athletes, increase NLC enrolment

Northern Lights College and the Dawson Creek Kodiaks Junior B hockey team have signed a memorandum of understanding that will help NLC increase its enrolment while supporting Kodiak athletes financially. Through the MOU, the Northern Lights College Foundation will create the Kodiaks Award Fund for athletes who study at NLC. The fund will provide Kodiak athletes with scholarships and bursaries, and the Kodiaks will host “NLC Nights” with discounted admission for NLC students and staff. “At the Foundation one of our strategic pillars is to expand support and access for students, creating partnerships like this allow us to help our students on their lifelong journey of learning,” said NLC Foundation Executive Director Lindsey Borek. “We are truly grateful for this opportunity and look forward to watching it grow and evolve.” NLC| Dawson Creek Mirror Note: Archived stories may contain dead links or be missing source links.
