NLC signs more MOUs with Kenyan counties

Northern Lights College has signed three new memorandums of understanding with three new Kenyan counties after having signed one with Usain Gishu earlier this year. The MOUs with Nandi, Elgeyo Marakwet, and Murang’a will see more students from Kenya attending NLC for their studies. Mruang’a Minister of Finance and Economic Planning Professor Joseph Kiarie Mwaura expressed his hopes for further collaboration with NLC, including exchange initiatives and ensuring that the quality of the programs offered by the university in Murang’a. NLC Acting Vice President of Student Services and Community Relations Scott Clerk said that they are expecting to see more Kenyan students at NLC next year. “This is a great partnership for NLC,” said Clerk. “The Kenyan students that arrive through these partnerships will contribute to the growing diversity in our classrooms, campuses, and communities.” NLC| Energetic City Note: Archived stories may contain dead links or be missing source links.
