Northlands, GDI sign MOU to facilitate delivery of ICBME program

Northlands College and the Gabriel Dumont Institute have signed an MOU that will facilitate the delivery of the Indigenous Community-Based Master of Education (ICBME) program in La Ronge, Saskatchewan. The program, which was originally launched in July 2020, has been offered online due to the pandemic. Through the MOU, the program will be delivered on-site at Northlands in the future. Students in the ICBME program will complete ten Indigenous education-focused courses, with the University of Regina verifying that courses meet university requirements through GDI and URegina’s affiliation agreement.
