Olds cancels spring rodeo due to resignation, additional animal care requirements

Olds College of Agriculture and Technology has cancelled its Olds College Spring Rodeo, which was scheduled for the upcoming weekend. The college says that this cancellation was made due to a sudden resignation and additional animal care requirements as part of Olds’ Animal Use Protocol. The Albertan and CTV News report that students and local small business owners are frustrated about the decision. The Albertan reports that Lakeland College has announced that it will host the event on the same dates as originally planned.
