Parkland launches program to connect seniors and students

Parkland College is launching the Bridging Divides: Success for Students and Seniors program to bring students and seniors in the community together. The program will bring seniors from Yorkton, Melville, Kamsack, and Fort Qu’Appelle to the college to share their knowledge and experiences. The volunteer seniors will visit classrooms to engage in one-on-one sessions with students, be involved in college events and activities, and more. “We want them (seniors) to be part of our college campus,” explained Parkland program contact Brittany Frick.
