Parkland partners with Saskatchewan Safety Council for industrial firefighter training

Parkland College has signed a partnership agreement with the Saskatchewan Safety Council focused on industrial firefighter training. The partners will take a three-pronged educational approach – quality training, regular practice, and recognized certification – to provide the specialized training needed for industrial emergency responders. “Parkland is excited to partner with the Saskatchewan Safety Council to deliver high quality industrial safety training built on the strengths of each organization,” said Parkland President Dr Mark Hoddenbagh. “As a college dedicated to meeting the training needs of Saskatchewan, this agreement strengthens employer access to the relevant, credentialed and timely training they need to operate safely.” Parkland Note: Archived stories may contain dead links or be missing source links.
