Portage paramedicine programs receive high accreditation, full approval from ACP

Three programs at Portage College have received the highest possible accreditation and full approval statuses from the Alberta College of Paramedics. The Primary Care Paramedic and Advanced Care Paramedic programs have received full approval for six years (until 2028), while the Emergency Medical Responder has received approval for three years (until 2025). “Program approval of 100% is achieved through the hard work, extraordinary efforts, and ongoing dedication of an immensely passionate, competent, professional, talented team, who view excellence as a priority,” said Shona Hommy, Portage Associate Dean, Health and Wellness. “The Paramedicine team works hard to provide each student the individualized support they need to meet their unique needs, to model professional excellence and to ensure program and curriculum quality.” Portage Note: Archived stories may contain dead links or be missing source links.
