Rimouski releases plan to address debt with residence renovations

CÉGEP de Rimouski has provided the Government of Quebec with its financial recovery plan as it faces a total debt of $3.6M, reports TVA Nouvelles. Rimouski director François Dornier said that the institution’s budget has been balanced, and that the cégep will be seeking a partner to manage its student residences. Rimouski has proposed $15M in renovations on the residence to increase capacity so that the cégep can offer accommodations to a greater number of international students.
