Simon Fraser University’s Beedie School of Business and the Digital Technology Supercluster have established a partnership that will see SFU lead the Digital Innovation and Leadership (DIAL) initiative. The DIAL initiative will consist of a network of over 40 industry, government, and not-for-profit partners across Canada. It includes two new training programs that will provide over 1,100 workers with the digital skills they will need to contribute to Canada’s digital economy. Over $18M has been invested by all partners so far in the project. “Universities have an important role to play when it comes to economic recovery and helping to fill the emerging talent gap,” said SFU President Joy Johnson. “I am proud of the work that we have done through the DIAL initiative and the connections we have built with our collaborators across the country—because building a better future for Canada will take all of us.” SFU Note: Archived stories may contain dead links or be missing source links.
