St Clair approves cybersecurity, greenhouse operator/technician programs

St Clair College has approved new programs in the areas of cybersecurity and greenhouse operation in order to meet the needs of the labour force. Three graduate certificate programs in Cybersecurity – Automobility will launch in Fall 2022 and will train students in the necessary skills to support cybersecurity in the automotive sector and the broader manufacturing and supply chain industries. The Fall 2023, St Clair will offer a two-year Greenhouse Operator/Technician diploma program that will prepare students for work in the greenhouse sector. Students will complete the program through in-class and online learning, lab work, and greenhouse visits, and will have the opportunity to specialize in pest management or production in their second year.
