Thompson Rivers University has recently celebrated the launch of a new research chair and the completion of two new residential development projects on campus. The university signed a five-year MOU with Fulbright Canada to establish an annual visiting research chair position that will bring United States scholars, scientists, practitioners, and leaders to campus. TRU also recently celebrated the completion of Liberty Pointe and Rockcliffe, which are new parts of The Reach Neighbourhood at TRU. Both buildings will open up more housing space: Liberty Point contains 42 apartment rental suites, and Rockcliffe is a 40-suite residential condominium development.
