Tuition increase approved at UManitoba for 2022-23 school year

The board of governors at the University of Manitoba has approved a tuition increase for 2022-23 of 3.7% on average. While some courses and programs will not see any increases, others will see increases above 3.7%. Education will see a tuition increase of 4.25%, medicine will increase by 5%, and the music faculty will increase by 4.25%. For music students, unit-specific fees for the major practical study course will increase from just over $60 to $510, while fees for the minor practical study course will see an increase from just over $30 to $255.
