The University of Calgary and Big Brothers Big Sisters (BBBS) of Calgary and Area have partnered to help young Calgarians. This agreement will give BBBS access to a new pool of mentors who are part of the UCalgary community, offering them volunteer and community experience through BBBS Calgary. UCalgary will also provide youth with the opportunity to experience postsecondary education—accessing art performances and Dino sporting events at the university—through the BBBS Big Deal Card program. In the future, UCalgary says that the collaboration will result in research that benefits youth.
