UNB McKenna Insititute, IBM partner to provide digital training.

The University of New Brunswick’s McKenna Institute and IBM Canada have partnered to provide enhanced access to the free digital training program IBM Skills Build. The McKenna Institute and its partners will work with students and community members to develop customized learning plans and modules that target their desired roles and competencies. The goal of the partnership is to increase IT capacity within NB and provide working-age individuals with the opportunity to pursue opportunities in the field. “This unique format of the IBM SkillsBuild program will accelerate skills acquisition by basing learning on individual needs,” said UNB McKenna Institute founder Frank McKenna.
