The Université du Québec à Trois-Rivières has partnered with Chambre de commerce et d’industries de Trois-Rivières (CCI3R) to support organizations in Mauricie and Centre-du-Québec with their cybersecurity needs. Through this initiative, 15 organizations, including small- and medium-sized enterprises, non-profits, and municipalities, will receive financial support that will cover costs related to training employees to address cyber threats through UQTR’s FORCE-UQTR program. This 14-week program uses an online, asynchronous format to teach participants about vulnerabilities, protection measures, and digital resilience. In addition, the partnership will provide financial support that will offset a portion of trainee salaries.
