The University of Windsor has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with NEO Battery Materials that focused on advancing battery and energy storage technologies in Canada’s electric vehicle ecosystem. Under this partnership, NEO and UWindsor Faculty of Engineering researchers will collaborate on various projects related to energy storage and create commercialization pathways for their innovations; UWindsor students will also gain access to new work opportunities where they can develop their practical skills. The partners also shared their intent to pursue provincial and federal funding opportunities to support industry-academia joint development.
