Western University and conservation organization Birds Canada formalized their longstanding partnership through a Memorandum of Understanding last week. The partnership will create new opportunities in areas such as collaborative research, student training, and technological innovation. “We’re seeing increasing demand for high-quality scientific data that can help governments make better decisions,” said Western Professor Chris Guglielmo. “Whether it’s protecting species at risk, understanding migration or reducing the environmental impact of major infrastructure projects, there’s a growing need for this research.”
