YorkU considers shifting Glendon College to Keele campus

News

York University has proposed changes that would shift the university’s Glendon College operations to the Keele campus. The purpose of the proposal is to identify ways that the university can continue to deliver bilingual education while reducing program duplication and simplifying student pathways. It outlines how Glendon would transition into a university-wide college, which would be a hub for bilingual education as well as French-language services and the Francophone community. The Toronto Star reports that the university faculty association and L’Amicale Francophone de York have expressed concerns over the changes.
