Antara News reports that Indonesia’s Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Technology is keen to scale up academic cooperation with the higher ed sectors in Canada. Indonesian Higher Education Minister Brian Yuliarto noted that the ties between Canadian and Indonesian postsecondary institutes continue to grow in number, spanning student exchanges, research collaborations, and joint academic programs. “We hope that Canadian universities will support Indonesia by admitting our students, enabling them to pursue their higher education there,” said Yuliarto. Antara News reports that the Indonesian Embassy in Ottawa will be actively exploring opportunities to foster stronger relationships between universities in both countries.
