The University of Calgary’s Haskayne School of Business recently launched the Calgary-Haskayne Adaptive Research Tracker (CHART), an alternative to traditional business school rankings. UCalgary Haskayne Dean Dr Gina Grandy explained that the tool, which includes 28 Canadian business schools, offers a more transparent and insightful ranking system than that used with traditional methods. “Rather than simply accepting rankings as they are, this tool helps schools see what is driving performance, where they are gaining momentum and where strategic investment could make a meaningful difference,” explained Grandy. In addition to the CHART ranking, the school released CHART-IF, a tool that allows users to estimate outcomes of strategic changes at their business school.
